I don't think you are (no history to support that as your MO), but now I hope you are.

Gonna win 'em all!

So we're on like day 10 now. The American returned to the states this weekend. So, I'm currently compiling a list of weird Egyptian things, including my top 10 street foods, that I will review for this wonderful blog. We're having another baby (sorry, sys) in February, and Mrs Rex is leaving a month earlier than me, so of Leahy fails me, January will be "Felix Eats And Documents Weird Local Foods" month.

If the public outrage doesn't hold off until at least February, I am going to be soooo pissed.

My bad, I didn't even acknowledge the announcement! I was too excited and worried about the food review.

Congratulations to both of you! (or all of you, or whatever it takes so Mrs. Gooch doesn't think I am being misogynistic.)

I could have sworn I saw some post by Bloodfart just a few months ago about just having a kid.

I don't know why, but intentional use of "you people" gets me ever-y-time.  :D

Ha ha that was the announcement of a bun in the oven.  I posted it in the kids thread.  Same kid it's just really close to crossing that arbitrary line.

Bf#4 is in the oven.  This might be the last one but who knows.

OK, well congrats. But I am not going to tell you congratulations on the day it is born because why would that be a milestone worth acknowledging?

I think we'll be okay. There'll be another wave of freak out once it's officially announced, but then everyone will forget about it again.

Amid all their monumental clusterfucks the last few months, Egypt has been trying to promote tourism via a "This is Egypt" hashtag, even making Morgan Freeman hold a sign with the slogan while he was here filming a natgeo doc on Egypt (Egypt being Egypt, they of course almost arrested Freeman and his crew for illegal filming first)

Anyway, critics are taking over the tag. I won't bore you with the political ones, but damn did I enjoy this:
