doing dishes is worst.  laundry is nothing compared to dishes.  NOTHING. 

Do not mind dishes at all.  Rinse, put in dishwasher.  Laundry annoys me because its this 2 hour ordeal of gathering it, washing, drying, AND THEN YOU HAVE TO FOLD IT!  All my clothes end up on hangers anymore

I agree. steve dave must have a crappy dishwasher or something.

oh, that's no biggie. what she does while you're in the shower is none of your concern. she could have sat down and watched some TV, fixed herself a sandwich, painted her nails or any number of things. turns out she's just OCD and saw your pile of unfolded laundry.

I do this all the time, just do a load of laundry in the evening several times a week. Its not like it takes a ton of time; a couple minutes to put a load in the machine, a couple more minutes to switch to the dryer, a couple more minutes to unload and fold/hang. Easy to fit in while you are doing whatever in the evening.

Easy to fit in while you are doing whatever in the evening.

Use a dish. Rinse dish. Place dish in dishwasher. When the dishwasher is full, turn it on. Put your dishes in the cabinets and drawers where they go. None of these steps takes longer than 4 minutes. Most of them take less than one minute.

It takes me at least 15 minutes to sort all of my socks into pairs that match. Nothing else takes that long, but I absolutely hate sorting socks. I'm really tempted sometimes to just throw them all away and buy new socks so that every color is exactly the same sock, but I've already tried that once and somebody will get me 6 pairs of socks for Christmas or something weird like that that totally ruins it.

the folding laundry is what takes the time. And I actually don't mind doing it for myself, but folding laundry for kids is the rough ridin' worst. my god, everything is inside out and my hands can't fit into tiny armholes to make them right and I hate doing it for them.

you guys want to know something funny? my wife will like "well i did four loads of laundry today" and i'll be like "oh thats nice" and then i'll get home and there will be four loads of laundry that will have been washed and dried all just dumped in a big pile on our bed and she'll be like "wanna help me fold?" and i'm look "good god you bad person, you said you did four loads of laundry but you didn't even fold and put stuff on hangers. that's like kind of a pretty big part of the whole process ya know?"
