we never fight about money and we have one joint account and spend whatever we want
I think the problem with lopakman's system is the flow of money is all communist. The paychecks should go to your individual accounts, then equal parts taken from there and sent to your joint accounts to pay bills and grow savings and such.
I don't think if we had a wedding looming, she'd even give a crap. She didn't last year. Even tho her parents are taking care of the wedding, she still has her eyes set on some awesome honeymoon. She really wants me to get my passport stamped.
