3. She says yes, but only takes 1 sip, reads the ingredients, and then puts it down and never touches it again: I will physically remove J-Dub from her company and never let him see her again.

We're celebrating Ms. wacky and I's two year in a couple of weeks at the Elms resort. Has anyone been there? I know it's kinda a close destination for KC'rs on the weekend when they wanna get away, but not waste a bunch of time driving.

Last time I was there they kicked the wedding party out of the pool at midnight. It's Bob Strawn's type of place.

took the Mrs up there in fall of 13.
Pros:
Signature Suite was pretty nice
The Tavern on the 2nd floor is cozy place for a nightcap or two
Dinner at the 88 at the Elms was fine, I doubt you can do much better unless you drive back to KC or over to Justus Drug

Negs
Outdoor hot tub was closed

We also went to this winery that is about 10 minutes from The Elms, the wine was typical Missouri wine, drinkable but over priced by about 50%. They have a nice little patio and try to have live music on the weekends.

There was at least 2 weddings taking place when on the Sat night we were there, I would put that as a positive for the people watching, imo
