Are there many modern press boxes/suite buildings that actually has stone veneer on the playing surface side of the structure?
And yes, this is a serious question. I can't seem to think of any.

I want someone to tell me why we shouldn't/couldn't have it.

We have $50 million to build a free standing structure.  VT built a castle for $42 million.  My standards will be high.

I'm not against it by any means.

I'm going to seem like a downer, but I hope that's not what it looks like.  I don't want it to look like an office building.  I hope they limestone it up a bit.  It needs to be somewhat decorative.  I don't want them to go all K-Stateo and make this thing look like a giant office building.

Unless there are big changes, there is limestone, everywhere, and it makes the current pressbox look like what it really is: garbage.

Any chance the NEZ gets wrap around bowl seating?

Buildings and some seating will eventually fill in all gaps. Could change.

Expand on 'eventually.' Are we talking that 'eventually' means with this particular expansion or with an expansion beyond this current one?

Would you use the word 'copious' in terms of the amount of limestone that will be used?

In current plan. Do not know when plan will be executed.

Limestone wall was/is/also in current plan.

Absolutely.

Will be top 1000 largest limestone buildings in the world.
May need to figure out a process for growing limestone...

Are they actually going to power-wash this limestone and keep it looking nice, or are they going to let it get all grimy and disgusting after a few years and keep it that way under the terrible guise that it makes us look "regal"?

Or sandblast it, or whatever it is they do.  Just keep it from looking scuzzy like the rest of our janky-ass campus.

according to the Pawn Stars, cleaning them ruins the value. it's called "patina", and you want to leave it.  Just an FYI.

Yeah, especially if you want your campus to look like a dump.

Get some fast-growing ivy to cover the entire structure...maybe some kudzu.  (However, this may eventually lead to the extinction of the Konza Prarie ecosystem...)

Gifted amateurs call it patina, pros call it verdigris.  We don't want our limestone coated with "verdigris".

The absolute last thing we should do is add seats.

How about water slides down the hill on both sides of the NEZ?  Fits right in with the lazy river.

If they build the moat that I wanted them to build, and they fill it with those jumping fish, that would probably just about do it.
