I know I posted the link and also the pics in the booze cats thread, but it's about the only good thing that came out of the weekend. Some pretty dece facilities coming in.

I am uncomfortable with KSU spending money on non-profitable sports.   My preference is for spending money on educational endeavors (like stuff for the actual people who are trying to be students at Kansas State) and profitable sports.

Putting money into non-revenue sports is like paying to upgrade the flooring in the apartment you are renting.

As someone who goes to non-revenue sports I love they are making upgrades to them.  We already have a crap ton of money going to educational endeavors.  I guess if you think the non-revenue athletes are the only ones who should benefit then the same should apply to higher paying degrees, Pete.

Yes.  I place zero value on college sport beyond entertainment.  Club supports are sufficient for the rest of the world’s universities.  I agree with them.

they need to allow standing room spectators along the whole unbleachered perimeter of the field. also I don't like the fence right up against the field at the ends.

how often does the ball get kicked over the fence now? do people get to keep the ball?

Yep.  Our AD doesn’t cost the U much.  Students pay a bunch of fees, but that’s it I think.  Dax would know better than I would.

I didn’t choose them....didn’t chose where I was born.  I root for those two, but because of where I was raised.  I chose K-State.  So I root for K-State more than pro sports.  But, I only pay attention because it entertains me.  If it doesn’t, or that stops, KSU sports won’t get a dime from me anymore....basketball is already at that point at KSU for me.

Just my personal feeling.  I won’t do anything to “stop” others who feel differently.  I just don’t give eff about sports that don’t entertain me.
