I hope the entire master plan gets done, and done right, but at the very least I'd like a nicely done east side facade to really complete the exterior look. If he can at least get that done and make it look good, I won't complain much.

No offense, but I rough ridin' hate this take when anyone brings it up.

By the time we get to anything involving the east side (besides some updating, the south is said to be next), that structure will be close to 30 years old, and has always been a pretty shitty fan experience. Instead of dropping 15-20 mill on a facade, hopefully they doze that bitch and spend that money to make something more fan friendly, that adds some forms of symmetry to the west and south sides, and possibly some more revenue generating aspects.

Hell, by then we may need to drop capacity a little with everyone staying on their couch for games.

Yes.   Do a mini WSC on the East, update a few things and call it good.   But don't spend the money for a full-blown facade, if they want to spend that much money, tear it down and start over.

Yup, agreed. East side should wait as long as possible anyways. We could do SEZ/Bramlage combo project and get more usage and worth out of that vs. anything on the East side.

I would also like it knocked down to make things more symmetrical, if/when we decide to.

Heard from Gen. Myers earlier this week that The Mustang decided against the shared space between soccer and baseball. Said they needed dedicated facilities.

I totally agree with this.

Tried to find the rendos with the shared space to post for shits, but they gone. Look forward to seeing the new plan soon.

meh, this is just a shopping spree at nebraska furniture mart. they could easily turn around and knock it down and rebuild like they should 5 years from now.
