Nah, 21 and 17.5 is pretty weird.

Kansas State Football / Re: 2024 Wildcats Countdown to Kickoff!!!

I apologize. There have been a number of changes within my life in the last three months, the most impactful being that during the entire month of May I was working 12 hour night shifts 7 days a week. As such, K-State football and this countdown was placed on the back burner. I apologize for the oversight and will make sure that the mistake isn't repeated next year.

Rule 2 (probably): No excuses

"While the Obama administration record is characterized by much higher removals than preceding administrations, it also shows less focus on increasing absolute numbers of overall deportations and a higher priority on targeting the removals of recently arrived unauthorized immigrants and criminals. The administration also placed a much lower priority on removing those who had established roots in U.S. communities and had no criminal records. This prioritization was achieved by a slowly evolving but deliberate policy, highlighted by the administration’s November 2014 executive actions on immigration."

There's something else for you to ignore.

And please find all evidence you have where you say I "didn't GAF".

Viewers of this blog are reminded that #blueanon political and thought leadership told us that “white supremacists” were the greatest threat to democracy and Pedo Pete even reminded us the government has got F-15’s . . . man.

Now we’ve got #blueanon terrorists on the streets . . . again

White #blueanon supported this 1000%

“During the Obama administration (2009-2017), approximately 3 million individuals were formally removed from the United States, according to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data. This figure represents the number of individuals removed through formal court orders.
However, when considering all departures, including both formal removals and "returns" (cases where noncitizens left voluntarily or withdrew their application for admission without formal removal proceedings), the total number of departures during the Obama administration exceeds 5 million”

What changed?

Trump isn't deporting criminals, he's deporting people who are showing up to court for their monthly/quarterly check-ins and then deporting them or sending them to prison without due process. So why the eff would anyone show up to their check ins? We're talking about people who are here legally and have not committed any crimes, now being incentivized to NOT show up to their appts, which would make it illegal for them to be here.

I don't know why I'm explaining this to you, you don't actually care.

"Of course Trump is on the Epstein logs, everyone knows this, the REAL coverup the government tried to pull is that Joe Biden was in a cognitive decline!!"

Jesus Christ dude, this thread is for funny tweets about the Elon vs Trump saga now, take your boot lickin to one of the many other threads in which you do the exact same thing over and over.

I heard a really funny theory that since Elon could see the election votes coming in due to them going through Starlink, he told Trump that he won before it was announced (Joe Rogan even said on his podcast the Elon told HIM before any of the results were announced). But Trump thought it was Elon saying that he used Starlink to change the votes in order for Trump to win. So that's why they were best buds after that.

And then when MAGA lost the Ohio election, Trump either 1. realized Elon didn't win him the election or 2. Elon didn't use his powers to swing to election. And that's when Trump started distancing himself from Elon.

Anyway, it's really funny and makes a lot of sense. This does not mean that I believe it, but it's a really rough ridin' funny thing that definitely COULD HAVE HAPPENED.

Seeing that color pattern in any context gives me nausea.

This reminds me of when I saw a red hat and it white font it said
"MADE YOU LOOK
BLACK LIVES MATTER"

and while I appreciated the play it made me wonder how many people actually read it instead of just assuming it was a MAGA hat. I'm very happy to not be a fan of any red teams, say the St. Louis Cardinals, because from the back some people probably assume those hats are MAGA hats.

Just discovered Winona Fighter today which they are so good! Highly recommend if you enjoy women lead punk bands. They give Paramore vibes.

Huge fan of Winona Fighter. There's a band called world's greatest dad that I really enjoy and their Spotify Radio led me to WF. They are punk/emo with a female singer, but that's where the comparison ends. Anyway, their album Get Well Soon is a top 10 album all time for me if you're looking for music recs.

everyone gets a big lol and i’m not saying that know everything, win win

This approach has treated me well as of late.

Hagerty measured at 6'2" and a quarter. Ain't no way he's playing SG at the NBA level, and ain't no way he pulled his name from the draft and came here if we ain't gonna give him PG experience.

I feel like "we have good 3pt shooters this year" is to K-State basketball what "we have a good transfer receiver this year" is to K-State football.

JFC how do you post a pic or a link to a rough ridin' tweet I'm losing my mind over here. I guess you'll just have to click on this to see what they served up at this dinner. If I was at a funeral and got served up this crap I think I'd leave.

Friendship is basically a mix of an ITYSL sketch and an episode of Detroiters. Not necessarily in plot, but in style of comedy and how based in reality it is.

TL;DR It's basically what you'd expect from a Tim Robinson feature length film.

Essentially Flyertalk / Re: Tipping
« on: May 25, 2025, 09:44:44 AM »
I assumed he meant the maximum was too low for exceptional table service.

I can't remember the last time I tipped less than 20%, I kind of view that as bare minimum.  I am militant about not tipping for counter service tho.
To me, tipping over 20% (other than for exceptional service) is just encouraging restaurants to refrain from paying real wages. At best, you’re just subsidizing other people paying lower menu prices than they should. At worst you’re helping fat cats keep better people than they should be able to afford.

"It's better for the poor/service industry workers if you don't give them money" is an interesting spin.
