The good news is that Bill Lawrence is still very capable of writing comedies with lots of heart, as shown by Ted Lasso and Shrinking. And I would imagine he'll be very hands on.

So yes, I think it will have season 8 vibes if he's still in the flow of writing those two shows.

He's going to do something absolutely bonkers to try to deflect from the Epstein files. WWIV? Bomb Puerto Rico? Who's to say?

I imagine the first episode ending with a Dr. Cox classic line, said off screen. Or maybe not a classic line, but simply "That'll never work!" Then the camera is flipped and zooms in on him as he says, "Hey newbie. Good to see you again". Credits roll. Then he's in every episode going forward.

It would be weird if this was all running cover for Trump.  You'd think that the previous administration would have been pretty eager to get that out there prior to last November.

I'm guessing it's mostly about running cover for others.

I posted this in another thread, but I'm pretty sure that if the former admin releases that list and Trump is on it, he says "it's an absolute witch hunt" and all the people who were going to vote for him anyway go ahead and believe him, then it's forgotten about between the election and when he takes over and he has no consequences for it.

In all honesty, if that list is released October 2024, does Trump actually lose enough support to lose the election? He's wiggled his way out of absolutely everything.

You guys, I think it was a Nazi salute.

#blueanongE - Please respond below with your theory as to why the Biden Administration didn't release the list.

Viewers of this blog - please set your boards to #blueanongE: DerpCon One

If democrats released it the MAGA cult would have said they were fake and Biden added Trump to it just so Trump wouldn't get elected. Then no one would change their minds about it, and Trump would have won and by the time he was in office no one would bring it up again.

But here we are. He isn't releasing them because he's on them. At best, he's not releasing them because someone who is on them is telling him he's not allowed to, and he's doing exactly as he's told.

If Trump wasn't on the Epstein list, he'd be suing Elon for defamation.

You dudes forget the fed chair needs senate confirmation?

I'm not sure if you've been following anything at all, but if Trump wants a 5 year old with special needs to be the fed chair, a 5 year old with special needs is going to be the fed chair.

This is sickening.  Trump, miller, and Noem should have serious consequences for this.

Putting them on death row would be better than this.

I read that as trump, miller, and noew should be on death row but I think that point stands.

Public hangings.

30% is standard now?  tipflation is out of control

It's not, but it's how you get people to share you post. Then everyone will repost it saying "THIRTY PERCENT IS THE NORMAL NOW!?!" and then that social media account gets a bunch of engagements. It's a stupid world we live in.

When I was in 6th grade I got P. Ivy on my private parts and it is one of the worst experiences I've had in my entire life.

Have you guys tried the pizza spot at Linwood and Gilham?  You, weirdly, have to buy a membership, but the pizza is pretty darn good.

Are you allowed to smoke indoors? That's why a lot of places do memberships. I bet that's it.
I've never tried it but i don't think so.  Which is weird because they also sell ciggies there.

  :surprised: :surprised: :surprised:

The Killing of a Sacred Deer - I have no idea how to rate this one. waks made me watch it. It seems to take place in the same universe as The Lobster, but it couldn't unless Collin Farrell plays a different character in that universe. If the Coen Brothers make dark comedy, this was midnight-in-the-back-of-the-cave dark comedy.

Casablanca - 6/7 - Second time watching it. My goodness there is a lot of dialogue and they talk way faster than I thought they did back then!

The Thing - 5.5/7 - Second time watching it. I usually hate when movies show the monsters for too long. Alien Resurrection and Romulous are guilty of this, in my opinion. But I didn't mind it with The Thing.

This Is Spinal Tap - 5/7 - Not as funny as I remembered, but there are still 3 scenes that are all time scenes so I'm glad I did a rewatch.

I can't handle it. Too cute!

Hilarious that Ted thought it was fool proof to say "The Bible says to protect Israel" because once you bring The Bible into it, pubs know you can't push back.

NOPE! Tucker correctly knows he can school him on the Bible.

Saw someone say "the wildest part isn't that Cruz doesn't know the population of Iran, it's that Tucker gets him to slip up and say we are already in Iran."
