Essentially Flyertalk / Stevesie’s High Thoughts
« on: October 20, 2018, 02:40:59 AM »
Can dogs only dream of what they have experienced? Are they capable of dreaming of say, flying? Or showing up to school naked? Or being late to something important?

Essentially Flyertalk / Hey guys, let's discuss psychedelics
« on: October 11, 2018, 02:27:17 PM »
I've never tried them personally (just kidding, that's for Officer Daris. He can't read anything in parentheses).

Mushrooms changed my religion and I'm honestly not joking. I recommend them for everyone. Anyone else have great stories about their experience?

Just wanted to say hey. No reason really.

As more details emerge about the Josh Jackson situation, they seem more and more comparable. My inside sources say more will come out (about more players, this year and previous) soon. Sad that we have to share a state with them.

Dear goEMAW,

I hope everyone is doing wonderfully. As the title states, I've missed almost all of you. I hope to be able to return more frequently soon, but until then keep me in your T's and P's and PAK'n plans!

1. Tennessee Titans

2. Panthers all black

3. Miami Dolphins new color

4. Seattle Seahawks greys

5. San Diego Chargers chowder blue

I mean, it would definitely boost my ego a bit. And I love anything that does that.

Other Sports (Tiger's Back) / Two Baseball Teams
« on: April 05, 2015, 08:02:53 PM »
Huge Royals fan Stevesie60 here. Now it seems weird, but I feel as if it's more acceptable to have two favorite teams in MLB moreso than in any other sport. For a long time I figured it was just Royals fan who were tired of following a small market team that hadn't competed in years, but I've brought it up with people from other regions and they seem to do it as well. About 99% of the time, it's an NL team and an AL team (would be 100% if it wasn't for Kat Kid's dumb ass).

So first of all, why is that? Because the AL and NL is more divided in MLB than in NFL, or the East and West is in the NBA? Because it's hard to watch baseball games if you don't have a rooting interest, so you may as well have multiple rooting interests? Am I completely off base for thinking this is special to MLB?

Kansas State Basketball / Bracket Strategy
« on: March 19, 2015, 11:14:20 AM »
Do you guys have a strategy you use when filling them out? This year I used three different strategies and I'm going to see which one scores the most points then use that strategy going forward.

1. Fill it out the second the bracket is released using the info you know.
2. Fill it out after the play-in games after you've heard everyone vomit up their talking points about the tournament.
3. Fill it out right before the tournament starts without thinking. Basically just using free flow.

I'd buy season tickets for the next 10+ years. I'd ask _33 to make lots of fun shirts, pics, etc. that referenced Brad Underwood being Frank Underwood. I'd go to every game and cheer so, so loudly, but no one would notice because everyone would be doing it. I'd love John Currie forever.

Note: this thread is not about debating the likelihood of it happening, it's how you would react if it did.

Essentially Flyertalk / Design a Carney Encore T-shirt
« on: January 11, 2015, 11:54:10 PM »
Normally I'd just ask _FAN but he already designed our sticker. If you are a computer graphics nerd aka cool guy, then please drawer something up. If it's good and you want money for it, we'll pay you for it. If it's decent and you don't want money for it, we'll probably take that option. But this is YOUR CHANCE to make yourself famous by designing a shirt for The Carney Encore. And might I add, you are welcome for this opportunity.

Essentially Flyertalk / Now that it's basically combo-fanning season.....

Mrs. Stevesie60 and I have been trying to adopt for some time. We had been trying to go the cheap route but since so many fell through that way, we are now going the not-so-cheap route because it is more of a sure thing. I come here asking for your help in any way you feel inclined to help. I know this seems like it could interfere with Fattyfest, but I checked with BSAC and he said it was cool if I posted something.

Here are the details: Feb 28th at Auntie Mae's. It's an all day event, starting with a silent auction, possibly trivia, and a concert featuring The Headlight Rivals and The Carney Encore that night. (hey, that's basically the Fattyfest schedule!) I know, I love Fattyfest so much that we decided to steal the schedule.

If you have anything you'd like to donate to the silent auction, it would be much appreciated. If it's K-State related and/or you only have one of said item, please use it for Fattyfest and not for this event. If you don't have anything you want to donate but this sounds like something you'd enjoy, then clear your schedule for Feb 28th and let's hang out and have a good time!

Kansas State Football / Is Trim actually Ryan Wallace?
« on: December 21, 2014, 11:00:07 PM »
Let's count the clues.

1. I've never seen them in the same place at the same time.
2. HUGE Seattle Seahawks fans.
3. Remember when Trim was trying to negotiate a pay raise from goEMAW by whoring himself out to GPC? What if he was actually working for GPC already and whoring himself out to goEMAW to get a pay raise from GPC? Seriously, what if?
