The new live-action LILO and stitch is very good. Funny and heartwarming. 6/7 as far as primarily for kids movies go.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I watched this last night and enjoyed it. I haven't watched the original in a while but I feel like Affleck's character is more autsy in this one than the first.

Great flick where you just turn off the realism meter and enjoy the action.

Very good movie until the end.  The end may be the worst end of any movie I have watched in a decade or two.  Maybe ever.  I honestly don't have a worse ending in my mind right now.

If by ending you mean the last 60 minutes, I agree.

I liked it! I also don’t remember the ending that well but I don’t recall being all that appalled by it.

I remember liking it, and then thinking it went on entirely too long.

the ending was ridiculous. it didn't make me dislike the movie, but i laughed at the absurdity of it. certainly a memorable film watching experience!

i would rather be on a movie set where people congratulate each other on a job well done. maybe a high five or a “dap”.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Overlord is a pretty good movie if you appreciate it for what it is, a WW2 zombie movie with c-list actors. It helped that I recognized a couple of the actors from shows that I’ve liked. Production value was surprisingly decent.

We went and saw F1 tonight and both really liked it! Def one of those movies you need to see in theaters.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer - I have no idea how to rate this one. waks made me watch it. It seems to take place in the same universe as The Lobster, but it couldn't unless Collin Farrell plays a different character in that universe. If the Coen Brothers make dark comedy, this was midnight-in-the-back-of-the-cave dark comedy.

Casablanca - 6/7 - Second time watching it. My goodness there is a lot of dialogue and they talk way faster than I thought they did back then!

The Thing - 5.5/7 - Second time watching it. I usually hate when movies show the monsters for too long. Alien Resurrection and Romulous are guilty of this, in my opinion. But I didn't mind it with The Thing.

This Is Spinal Tap - 5/7 - Not as funny as I remembered, but there are still 3 scenes that are all time scenes so I'm glad I did a rewatch.

I saw a This Is Spinal Tap gif on social media last week and realized I had never seen it and I've since added it to my movie que.

Here's a gift link to a New York Times piece ranking the 100 best movies since 2000 that I really enjoyed. I added several movies to my movie que that I'm too embarrassed to share. It shared movies I've surprisingly never seen, movies I've forgot about and am reconsidering and several I don't even recall. Another cool feature about it is that they surveyed 500 actors to come up with the list so you can see Mel Brooks favorite movies and so on.
