So when I worked as a news producer leading up to the 2016 election Trump’s barbs and zingers, and the national politics block, were always my favorite thing to put together, and people loved them. Ratings were really high.

It was always fun hearing our anchors read the back and forth tweets w/ graphics of said teeets in monitors, or speak around soundbytes of the debates back then.

When you work on the local news, it’s kind of nice cuz you know everything that’s going on locally and nationally but you’re kind of insulated from the national stuff cuz you’re just trying to get fair information out there.
