Falloon is closing soon, will have to rethink my local watering hole :(

WTF? When?
can't remember- june or july.  highwoods decided not to renew their or Reverse's leases.  they want the "wrong bars" out of the plaza.

Pi (pizza joint in St Louis) going into Reverse's location
yup that's what i heard too, just what the plaza needed, another pizza place to sit empty.  sweet!  i'd love to punch highwoods in the rough ridin' face.

Since we're talking about fast food burgers, I will throw this out there... In 'N' Out Burger has to be the most overrated restaurant known to man. I ate there twice over Spring Break and both times was horribly underwhelmed. First time I didn't try anything unique with my burger or fries and left disappointed so I went back and got both my fries and burger done animal style. Again, left disappointed. Anyone care to explain the hype for this place?
it's legitimately good fast food, which is pretty rare.  if you had a fast food hamburger choice b/w InO, Hardees, Wendys, McDs, and BK, hopefully you would have enough perspective to choose InO.

it looks like that hasn't been updated since sprint sold out it's 4G to Clearwire and bought 60% of their company.  sprint offers 4g through Clear, not techincally on their own network.

i think this is the specific announcement you're looking for-

Got the Droid as my work phone and dig it. Alot of the apps are crap (as would be expected). There are quite a few IPhone apps that still need to be converted over to android.
that shop savvy app is the lick

it's relatively cheap and people love hamburgers.  they can go out and get a "nice" meal and it's cheaper than Houston's or where ever it is they consider nice.

Five Guys and Smash burger aren't boutique.

Here's the thing - I was all excited about "apps" when I got an iPhone.  I was like omg, thousands of apps, this is going to be awesome!

I then quickly realized that 99.9999% of them are fracking worthless.
you're over exagerating that number but the point you're attempting to make is valid- the majority of them probably are worthless.  but that doesn't mean they all are, there are a lot of really good ones.  the reality is that they're worth different amounts to different people and personally, if i use my free bank of america app when i'm in chicago to find the closest bank of america just one time without having to ask someone, then i'm glad i put it on my phone.

further proof that the iphone OS/app store will need to make some major changes soon because open source/android is well on its way to surpassing iphone OS.  as android handsets continue to evolve and more and more people are exposed to the flexibility they can provide, they will naturally gravitate to them instead of living within Jobs' rules.  i can't see apple ever going open source but they're going to have to do something, i would think.

i would have provided a link to the other user created app OS's growth charts out there that were referenced in the "apple" thread but we all know they don't really exist.

anyways, great news for everyone who uses a smartphone, competition is a good thing.

For a chain, I do like Red Robin.  Food is good, service sucks, too many damned kids and all that but good eats.

i used to work there. It's impossible to give good service there, they make it really really hard on their wait staff

Red Robin absolutely sucks ass.

Actually IHOP has suprisingly good burgers.
Wow - chastising Red Robin while giving praise to IHOP? Now i've seen it all.  GTFO.
no doubt.  pretty hilarious.

Quote from:  Chris Merriewether's very CONNECTED fiance Stacie Owens
To Grant Guggisberg, Wichita Joe, and anyone else who has the displeasure of reading this article- It IS a big deal with there is ANY kind of contact made between a player and a coach, regardless of magnitude of the "hit". Such contact should NEVER, I repeat, NEVER occur. The loss of the game had NOTHING to do with the turnover that Merriewether made, which Frank Martin apparantly warranted as "severe" enough to "hit" him for it. In fact, had ALL of the team been doing their job throughout the duration of the game, we would have easily beat Missouri. Every loss OR win is a team effort- the blame or glory is NEVER attributed to ONE player. Grant- you clearly did NOT watch the game in it's entirety. Merriewether played his BEST offensive game, hands down. He was successful with shots that his teammates were NOT. Additionally, to say that Merriewether deserved to be "hit" by Frank because he did not maintain eye contact is the furthest possible thing from the truth. If you were a regular viewer of the basketball games, and if you knew ANYTHING about Chris Merriewether and his character whatsoever, you would know that his is one of the FEW that actually do, without fail and on EVERY occassion, maintain FULL eye contact with Frank, even when Frank is screaming obscenities and verbally tearing him down. This article is nothing short of appalling and had no business being printed. I suggest, as a sports reporter, that you, Grant, get your "stats" STRAIGHT before you make a complete fool of yourself and publish such nonsense and untruth. And, for the record, if anyone wants to know how I know the TRUTH of it all, it's because I am Chris Merriewether's very disgusted, very disturbed, very irrate, and very CONNECTED fiance.

Wait, did the other guy actually graduate from UMKC, or is he still a UMKC student?

The Morris brothers always seem lost to me, and without a leader on the court like Sherron, and no Aldrich, and now no Henry, there won't be as much production out of them because they aren't leaders on the court. We're now going to find out if KU's bench can really beat any team in the country as they had been saying all year... cuz KU's starters couldn't beat Northern Iowa.

However, I won't say too much, it's not like I can back up what I say with a good basketball team in my own backyard. I have to go next door.
sherron was not a leader bro.  sorry but i couldn't let that one slide.
