i don't know if it's because of how bad the bball team is, the fact that i don't really care about leavitt or the possibility that i suffer from seasonal depression and i recently missed out on my yearly florida trip...but i am just kinda more bummed out about the whole fball situ than i am angry. they've broken me.  :frown:

Was thinking about this this morning.  Will we even have football paks at your house anymore?

You seem to forget how much fun it was cheering for Ron to fail and directing anger at him.

We could have no-reason-summer-paks at daris' house :dunno:  All wear flip flops and sit around comparing award wallet accounts or something.

     Another classic 5 facepalm post

Of course it was a lousy post, loser. Take a look at my post history. All of them are bad.

I get my bad posts out of the way here and save my good ones for GoPowercat, where I've been torturing those fine souls for going on 17 months under a user name that's every bit as lame as yours.

It's not that fun doing that at the games.  I mean, yeah, it's the only logical rooting interest to have, but it sucks being all emotionally confused when good and bad things (or bad and good things) happen with the Cats.

Kind of surprised Leavitt didn't bite on this amazing opportunity.

I'm also surprised Snyder sucks balls at recruiting.

Do I have to rate my source? I don't know what the exact offer was but it was co-DC with Cosh.

So Bill offered Leavitt a chance to sleep with an ugly chick.

So you would share duties with Bob Stoops but you won't with Chris Cosh?   :ck:

I'm sure the 49ers offered Leavitt more money because Bill's a piece of crap who won't take a paycut or fire unproductive staff members to pay Leavitt what he's worth.

This thread is almost worth not having a football team to watch next year...almost.

It's hold your horses. Cassidy is cranking on a story.

I, meanwhile, need to get to a lunch with Prez Wefald to talk about the history of K-State football. He's doing a book on the history of the University, which I cannot wait to read.

In an attempt not to throw my source under the bus, I will not be specific about my source . . . but a person I know was in the football offices and said everyone seemed depressed . . . he said that coach, who is usually very upbeat and excited to see him, was very depressed and bothered. Explained that rest of the staff's morale was down, and he even mentioned that some of the coaches were working on resumes . . . he said it was very strange, and he stated that he thinks there is some kind of change coming. he didn't know what, but he said something was up. He also said that there are only 18 commits right now . . . any speculation on why coach would have been depressed? Perhaps losing Levit? Hiding retirement until after signing day? . . . ? A source, so Don’t kill the messenger

I have been told the same thing. I think the "un-fun" factor of working at Vanier is at an all-time high. I'd prefer not to speculate why, but I'll say that in my office, when the boss isn't happy, no one is happy.

This post also seems like it would qualify for the "Aggieville Creepster of the Year" thread.

I like how Fitz is attempting to absolve himself of "It's Patterson" throughout all this.

Well lets speculate:

- Snyder actually canned some folks?

-Sean Snyder is taking over??

-Snyder is retiring and they've all been fired?

-Leavitt is coming and somebody is out?  (See "Canned some folks"?)

-Leavitt isn't coming and they all realized that they are stuck with Cosh?

-23 Hour work day requirement?

-They all have to get hypnotized?

-The Hot Chick working reception graduated in December?
