Girls with boy names and boys with girl names.

Met a girl named Billie the other day and I thought it was a ridic cute name.  Maybe it was just her, though.

Do you know what I hate? More than one middle name.

yes, hate

 :embarrassed:

One of my vendors has a chick named Dusty.

I hate all bible names that aren't ridiculous - Adam, John, Mark, Paul, Peter, Matthew, Luke, etc.

All boys names suck.  Never came across one I liked.  Girls names are easy - whatever you want for the first name with Ann, Marie, or Leigh as the middle name.  Mercedes Ann XXXXXXXX.  Candi Leigh XXXXXXXX.  Gertrude Marie XXXXXXXX.   All good names.

Is Skipper okay for a given name?  To WASPy perhaps?

Know a family where their last name is Dollar. Silver is the father, son is Nick, and daughter Penny. Pretty fracking awesome.

Skipper is a great name, so long as you want your kid to know what daily ass-whippings are all about.

I really dislike the super popular baby names going around right now. Jayden, Cayden, Hayden, Braden, etc. I am sure I have offended someone here cuz 1/2 of every baby squeezed through some chicks snizz is named one of those 4.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

i like white people w. black names & black people w. white names.  also hispanic people w. german or islamic names.  haven't met any islamic or german people w. hispanic names, but i'd probably like that too.  do like middle eastern people with christian names.

french names are pretty great for everybody, maybe not quite as much for the french, but ok for them too.

French have a problem with my guys with girl names rule.

Michelle and Rene for example(don't give a crap about the appropriate marks/punctuation).

Not a fan of "theme" names. For example, if you're last name is wood and you name all your kids after different kinds of woods.

Feel bad for "Teak" and "Cord". Also, want to pick on them during recess.

what about families where all the kids names start with the same letter.  I knew a Jen, Jay, Julia, Jessica family once.

:ohno:

I have 5 sibs and we all start with J.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

North of the Mason-Dixon line.

EDIT: Caveat for the Michcat rule. If he's educated and a professor or something completely non "Zeke," then I kind of like it (i.e. call big guys "tiny" and whatnot).

Wife taught in the ghetto for a couple years.  She had a student named feh-MALL-ee (spelled Female).

She also had students with legal names of:

Princess (with a crown over the "i" instead of a dot)

Toi  (Toy)

Demon  (pronounced day-MUN)

Power

True Luv

Orangejello (pronounced like spelled but say it fast to sound more ghetto)

And yes.....at her school there was a girl named La-a (Ladasha)  no lies.....

The whole Male/Female, Lemonjello/Oranjello, and L-a things are all complete wives tales and I can't believe you rubes actually bought them.
