The whole Male/Female, Lemonjello/Oranjello, and L-a things are all complete wives tales and I can't believe you rubes actually bought them.

Yeah. I knew it was only a matter of time before those and "shi-thead" showed up here followed by a "no foolin!"

FALSE, KCK, my wife was a social worker for 3 years.

My aunt used to teach English at Coffeyville CC. She also claimed "shi-thead" and the jellos.

Unless your relatives/spouses are inveterate liars, I bet what they said was a co-worker told them that story.  I myself have a friend who heard from someone else about a baby named Placenta.

My mom works with all the crack babies at St Lukes on the plaza and Male/Female is real.

I am keenly aware of this situation, as my first name has multiple common spellings and my last name has an ei in it, which for some reason people always think is a long e sound.  Hey dumbeffs, its clearly a German name.  In German you always pronounce the second letter in the ei/ie spelling.

My last name is that way too. :horrorsurprise:

I hate all bible names that aren't ridiculous - Adam, John, Mark, Paul, Peter, Matthew, Luke, Stephen, David, etc.

I like old school western Kansas farmer names.

Delbert is my fave.

I new several of these born pre-WW2 named Adolf around where I lived.  That had to be a tough one growing up.

I work for the gubment and deal a lot of po' folk and I have come across the following doozies:

Emperor
Urhines (Your Highness)
Delicious
Desire
Romance
La-a (it's true)
Spiker

and the best by far...B.B.  Stood for Baby Boy.  His mom left him at the hospital and he never got named.  Somehow Baby Boy "Johnson" or whatever got put on the birth certificate so he just went by B.B.

I believe that there were twins from the Osage County area, or there abouts, named Bow and Errol....they'd be in their late 30's by now.

Two first names.  They are either DJs or BBS-ers.

That was my point. Cire married a liar. I bet she also hides booze in perfume bottles and stuff.

Tons of liars around here.  You ever notice the shithead/lemonjello/la-a stories are always always always second-hand?  I might believe it when I hear someone go, "I taught La-a third grade and I have the roll sheet to prove it."  Until then, all you liars just keep lying and raking in the gullible  :opcat: rubes.  I taught for three years in all-black schools in the rough ridin' hood and saw some absolutely ridiculous crap, but never met a la-a/lemonjello/shithead.  They don't exist.  I did, however, teach a student whose first name was Robert Deniro.   :D  Another was Heineken.  "Hey Heineken, how'd you get your name?"  "My daddy saw it on a beer."
