*grunching*

can i skip leg plyos because i have bad knees?

if i'm already super-skinny, is this "workout system" optimal?

is it true nobody really finishes it?

Actually, I think it's probably even better for skinny people. Get some gunz, stunz.

shazbot! me i suck at dieting.

ultimate diet-killer is the 5-layer burrito from taco bell.  89 cents, are you f*cking kidding me?

anyone else have a perpetual diet-killer?

Alright fat guys who are trying to be less fat....I am getting fatter over here waiting for my fracking knee to heal from ACL surgery 2 months ago.  Can you tell me a little about the actual workouts?  Does my knee need to be fully healed (as in could go play a basketball game right now) to be able to really do these workouts?  I can't run yet, but I can walk normally.  I have full range of motion.  I lost a lot of muscle from my injured leg and am not even close to having it all back yet.  what do you doodz think?  Should I wait a little longer to start to get the full effect?

Also, please tell me how fat/not fat you were when you started this and how fat/not fat you are now.  Losing 5 lbs in 3 weeks isn't that great if you're really fat.  'ppreciate it.

yeah, don't do it if you're injured, d00d.

the 2nd day's workout is almost 100% jumping type moves, you probably can't/shouldn't do it if your knee is injured.

CRAP!!  I kinda figured this but needed someone to tell me.  It's been 6 months since I've even been able to walk normally so it's very frustrating to just sit here and watch myself get fatter and not be able to do much about it.  Oh well, I guess it'll make for a more dramatic before and after pic for when I can do the whole workout.

I acquired the videos for this a couple of weeks ago. Still haven't tried it. Something about exercising at home I can't get into.

It helps if you listen to podcasts while doing it.

Well, while I'm waiting for my knee to heal, i'm going to get everything ready to start this program.  I have a chin up bar already.  What about dumbbells?  I was thinking about getting some of those adjustable ones, but they're pretty expensive.  Do i need a pair....like do you use two at the same time during this stuff?  And how much weight do you need....25lbs or more like 50lbs.  Please note that I am no weightlifter but not a total wuss either.  TIA.

You need two, and you do a lot of reps with them in a short amount of time, but they say in the guide you're supposed to have an amount of weight that will be getting difficult to lift about your 8th rep.

SO are you guys still doing this?  Getting any skinnier.  I plan to start P90X in September.  The knee is getting a lot better lately and should be completely ready to go Sept 1.  So is this workout working out?  (see what I did there?)

Worked for me.  I had lasik eye surgery about a month ago, so I wasn't allowed to work out while I was recovering, but I'm starting again on Monday.  Kinda missed Tony and his awkward flirting with his female helpers.

Please explain "worked for me" in greater detail.  Lbs lost, muscle gained etc and so forth.  TIA.

I got 50 days in before I hurt my foot and quit. Have not started back up. Didn't do the diet, but I already eat pretty well. You'll get leaner pretty quick and it will rip your arms and torso.

BTW, the foot thing was an old injury that I aggravated during plyometrics.

Catsdo made it about 6 days before quitting. Every time I look behind my desk at work I see him getting fatter. Dood seriously weighs like 260 now.

I downloaded the vids last week for the hell of it (would never buy this program) and have been trying it out. I'm already in pretty good shape, so I have no interest in following the diet or even doing the program in the suggested order.

The workouts aren't overwhelming but definitely challenging.

So you're saying that you're too good to follow a workout regimen?

Meh. I was already hurt. I've had the same foot injury for 8-9 years now. It flares up sometimes. I wouldn't blame the workout.
