royals vs Cubs in 8 days....Cubs are scheduled to start Arrietta vs Us. He pitches Tue and they have an off day Thurs I believe. If they were smart, they would throw him Sun vs Pitt. Then he pitches Friday. Then he is set for NL wildcard game on Wed Oct 7. They are 2 back of Pitt in the WC1 vs WC2 battle. They obviously want to play that game at home. I sure hope they are thinking like me. They have only the 1 off day to end the season. I don't want to see him. Would rather see Hammel.... 8-6 record with 3.73
Arrietta now scheduled to pitch Sun night on ESPN vs PittKC will face Kyle Hendricks, 7-6 4.22.

No telling how we fair against him, but Arrieta won Tue night, now has a 0.48 ERA in his last 10 starts.
Quote from: mocat on September 22, 2015, 09:42:47 PMHe's been bad this year, good the previous two.5. That's how baseball contracts work sysfor 25.2 million, you'd expect to buy 3-4 war. they paid guthrie for 0 war. that's a bad baseball contract.

we have to pay that scumbag $3.2M next year to NOT pitch for us.
That's how baseball contracts work
