Ned?
Quote from: bones129 on September 13, 2015, 08:03:50 PMBut how willing do you think Detroit was to trade Price within the Central?dunno. logically, they should have preferred to do so, since they could not only acquire useful players/prospects for themselves, but also deprive a division rival of those same players. but i don't know if their mgmt was logical.

literally everyone thought he was the ace this staff was lacking.
cueto is not that good. and he may be injured.
career he's a 3.81 fip pitcher, all in the national league. he's good, but not "ace" good. he doesn't have the career length, but medlen, for example, posted better numbers during the short time that he was healthy.

Let Cueto's arm fall off. that's Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).I mean, if he's going to pitch like dog crap the rest of the season, it's not our problem to save this rent a players arm. Obviously, we know he's capable of more, but we haven't really seen it yet.
Norris was their #1 prospect, boyd appears to be SP material, and the other guy I couldnt find much on. I'd say price was more expensive but it's hard to say how much.
At least his last 3 HRs have been solo shots
I wanted Hamels because he had an extra year on his contract to trade next year for prospects.

i'd much rather be listening to schilling talking about cueto's problems than these idiots, none of whom have ever pitched (maybe the woman has, don't know, don't care, different game).
Pedro would be the best possible guy imo
