Price is the best pitcher out there if Det does indeed shop him.

But here another reason why I like the Royals perusing Cueto.
1) His WHIP is 0.95 the last year and a half. That's really good
2) last 1.5 years, he is allowing a .169 ave w/RISP
3) last 1.5 years, he is allowing a .248 SLUG. W/RISP

Last 1.5 years --
Kershaw numbers were .210/.331 w/RISP
Greinke was .223/.343
Scherzer .223/ .350

Kershaw, batters vs him, 230 plate appearances(Hit or BB/HBP) with RISP. 60 runs scored
Cueto had 267 plate appearances. 72 runs scored.
Pretty comparible with a top 3 if not the best pitcher last 1.5 years

I know Young is fly ball pitcher, but that HR in 2nd was his 9th allowed in previous 35 Inn. Too many

Last 5 starts his ERA a respectable 3.49

He can be a playoff starter, just prefer he our #3 or #4. Not #2.

Medlen did poor job of helping Salvy locate ball. Was looking down at the ground. No harm though
