I haven't made it to the park all summer. Disappointing. I hope to get out there at least once or twice in the coming weeks.

That's 9.3% chance to win a Wild Card game, not make it to the World Series.

On the other hand, Fangraphs thinks we should be a below .500 team for the remainder of the season, but still gives us 17.1% chance to make the World Series, and 7.1% to win it!

Royals 27-13
Twins 18-21
Tigers 18-19
Indians 18-20
ChiSox 17-21

Entering June 7 we had lost 9 of 11. We blew a 3-0 lead in the 7th on June 7, then Salvy hit a big HR in the 8th, we won 4-3.

I thought that win may spark us. It did.

Quite possible. I believe he was scheduled to pitch today or tomorrow before the trade took place, so he'd be set for a start
