Wouldn't that loser Blanton be out before Frasor?

Blanton goes bye bye when Duffy gets off of the DL.

The Indians are a better team than we are.

Is there a good reason why Volquez needed 7 days rest? Did I miss something?

Rainout Sat, day off Mon, Ned didn't want to bump any starter back.

The good news is Texas will have No Beltre or Josh Hamilton this weekend. Both hurt.

Frasor has a 0.52 ERA, and I am not totally sure he isn't the odd man out once Medlen is ready to join the team.
The last 39 batters he has faced.   He has gotten 21 out.  Allowed 12 hits, and 6 walks (1 was intentional).   He hasn't had a 1-2-3 inning the last 9 times he has pitched

Volquez-Ventura-Vargas-Young-Duffy-Guts
Medlen-Morales-Hoch-Madson- and then HDH

That is 13 pitchers and only 1 lefty in the bullpen unless Duffy ends up being there.  Things can change by the time Medlen is on this roster, but I don't think any of these guys have any options available to send down to Omaha.   Frasor just might end up being some trade bait kinda like Danny Valencia ended up being last year

The thing is, with HDH, we really don't have the need for a "situational lefty" since those three are more effective against most lefties than all but the very best.

We had esky on 2nd with no outs in the first and failed to score him.  That is very troubling to me.

at least Ned allowed him to steal for a change.

It's going to be great when we break out of this slump and start whooping ass again. Going to the game on Sunday, hopefully we are all party rocking as the boys in blue go for the sweep.

That's true. Those 3 are good vs lefties. And Madson has been too.  But to be honest, right now, I have more confidence in Morales than I do Frasor. If they were basic equals,  I'd prefer having the 1 lefty over having the 8th best Righty out of the pen. But that's just me

i've noticed that i don't like it much when the team playing the royals scores runs.  call me a racist if you will, but i just don't like it.
