question for people that have actually played real baseball.
the stuff announcers talk about recognizing pitches is complete bullshit, correct? i mean you don't see the spin of the ball and then consciously swing 6 inches under where you think the pitch will be, right? it's all just instinctively calculated somewhere in your brain that's in charge of calculating data gathered by the eye and translating those data into instructions for your muscles. like everything else in sports. amirite? i'm pretty sure imrite.
