I was at this game tonight....this game was on Ned

I guess I'm curious as to how being at the game made this more evident.

Cain can't keep leading off.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Did you guys see what San Diego got for street? No elite prospects but 4 good ones. That's why the team should have traded Soria and should be listening on Davis and Holland.

I'm not ready to give up just yet, but unless they have a really great week trade Shields, Holland or Davis, attempt to get something for Billy and Aoki and if done right (I know that's asking a lot with Moore) the team could actually be better next season. Then fire Ned and hire a better manager (again asking a lot of Moore) and next year could be even more fun.

Nice hit-n-run against a pitcher who couldn't hit the strikezone at the time. Great job, Ned. Way to waste a run.

i bet fans of normal teams think "allright!" instead of "oh noe!" when the opposing pitcher can't throw strikes.

That was a good shot, but he's got to lift the damn ball more often. Way too many balls that have to get through the left side from him. Not that this is in any way news or enlightening.

i can't believe they've only scored one run on this guy.  i can't believe he hasn't even thrown 60 pitches so far.

he sounds pretty realistic to me.

I've always appreciated his candor. He's always been a good dude.

This is what frustrates me most. Consistently seeing opposing pitchers — who suck — enjoy low pitch counts, when our guys are being worked deep in counts by professional hitters. It's sickening.

And then I have to listen to Ryan be all arrogant about walks, patience, any "new-school" baseball logic, basically. I about lost it when he said the Royals were 4th in the AL in hitting last night.

It's not 1964, just say batting average.

Farrell was asking for that with his defensive lineup imo.
