I posted a ballot on twitter that has Iowa 3rd and K-State 18th. BTW Iowa's NET ranking is 7th ours is 8th. Like officiating, women's polling is stuck in the 80s.

Up to #11 in the AP poll as conference play is set to get underway Saturday with a trip to Cincinnati. Big matchup with #5 Texas in Bramlage in a couple weeks looms large.

Texas just lost their potential all-american PG to a season-ending injury last week and then they lost their first game of the year at home to Baylor (ranked No. 10) last weekend. They're still plenty good (destroyed Tech tonight), but if we bring our A game and don't commit 20 TOs like we did tonight, we have a pretty decent chance, particularly since we're at home.

Losing Rory Harmon sucks, she's a great talent. I think we ate good enough to win the conference even with her. I think that Texas will likely finish behind us, Baylor, and TCU without Harmon.

To be fair, i was writing this knowing her injury. I just think Tejas is by far the hardest game we'll have til Baylor,.

Not next year, no. We'll still be good next year but without doing major damage in the portal we'll be a fringe top 25 team next year. It's now or never.

I think we can make it to the final four, I really do. I don't think we're good enough to beat South Carolina, it would take a Georgetown vs. Villanova 1985 "perfect game" like performance to pull that off.

agreed on final four, it will be a bit of a stretch to get there but not much. the woman’s tournament isn’t as upset prone as the men’s, but talent wise, i’d say e8 with a small stretch to final four.

n00b question: are the S16 and Elite8 games played on campus or do they go to a neutral site after the first 2 rounds?

Neutral sites for S16 and E8. We're currently on pace to host the rounds of 64 and 32. FF is in Cleveland this year.
