Kind of crazy, but half of this team is former top 100 recruits. There's definitely some talent there.

I'm all in on Gabby this year.

She looks like she spends a lot of time on the weights.

If she can actually shoot like that, they're going to be a real problem. Not to completely disregard this season but if she stays for her COVID season next year and they start her with Sundell and the Glenn twins around Ayoka they will be final four contenders.

We're going to find out what we're made of when No. 4 Iowa comes to Bramlage on Thursday. They just gave up almost 90 to Drake in OT, but I'm not sure we can keep up unless a couple of our players are on fire.

Well, they'll all be back next year, they're going to need to learn to play with her, again. We are playing way faster without her, even running a lot of press.

can one of you guys please fill me in on how she ended up at ksu cats?  I googled but didn’t find anything that gave any insight into how/why she transferred here.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

She left OU because she had health issues under Sherri Coale. After Coale left and Baranczyk took over, she just had a hard time consistently getting on the court. As to why she ended up at K-State, I think Mittie just won the recruiting battle. We were in her top 5 when she went to OU. I'm sure having the chance to play with Ayoka certainly didn't hurt.

Sidebar, but a lot of big 12 women have transferred within conference the last two years, it's a weird phenomenon.

Despite getting boned on our own court, we're hanging in there against the #4 team in the country

Which is hilarious. One of the most vocal Iowa fans, the one who I saw who seemed the most mad, is actually one of my wife's former students, I know him well. He's out of his mind, and many of her games are like that, he's a flopping goddess. She had a play in the second quarter where she shot a layup with her right hand and with her left hand, pulled Sundell's shoulder into her to draw a foul, it was the play that the ball got stuck on the rim. She's an amazing player but she stays throwing her body into the defender, it's frustrating as hell.

Probably not the time for this but women's basketball polls are rough ridin' awful. K-State at 25 and Iowa 9 is absurd. Iowa shouldn't be anywhere close to the top 10 right now.

For sure, but just wanting to celebrate early victories, end of the day any rankings in any sport less than a month in are pretty awful, and women's BB probably one of the worst offenders. After all in September many were ready to have A&M go to the playoffs

Ladycats beat a 3-1 Clemson team 76-38 (32-29 at halftime). Completely dominated the 2nd half on both ends.

They are an absolute wagon. That 3rd quarter was legendary. The game against Arkansas tomorrow will be a war, it's too bad that it tips off at 7:00.
