BTW does anyone remember where Shoney's was in Topeka? Can't remember but used to do the breakfast buffet there from time to time.  Pretty gross.

There was one where Tuptim Thai is at 29th & Kansas.   Seems like there was also another in town, but don't recall for sure.

It was in the location that "Grandy's" used to be in, on Wanamaker.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

grew up in liberal, went to mhk, now work in topeka.

your time in Manhattan must have felt amazing at the time and in retrospect
oh man let me tell you SD it was the best time of my life, i hate topeka but at least its close to both mhk and kck
This is consistently a positive that I hear out of people who think Topeka is good, "well, we're really close to Manhattan, Kansas city, and Lawrence!"

 if the best thing about your city is that it's close to others cities, I just don't even know
I live in Topeka. Do I think it's great, no. I like it well enough though.  But if I lived in a major metro area and I could be one hour between two of my favorite places I would be happy. That is why I like living here.  I can be at any KSU event on campus in less than an hour from my house. I can be at any event in KC within just a bit over an hour. A trip to the airport is just at an hour.  And my day-to-day needs are met here. That makes living here very good for me. I don't miss out on things because I live here. I just shorten my drive to either location. Just my two cents.

Topeka sounds a lot like North Carolina.

The team plans to play into the theme by dumping sand into each end zone and decorating with palm trees.
