The only reason the majority of these guys might go 1st round is because so many teams have shitty starting QB's right now.

We could potentially compete for a championship in the next few years.  Drafting a project QB with our one pick this year that is likely to bring in a starter doesn't make sense, IMO.  Some of those 7 listed will be around in the third.  If the Chiefs legitimately like an available one there, grab him, but don't do it because you feel obligated to bring in a QB.

If a crap ton of QBs do go early this year, you might get a better chance at a QB next year because even if these guys suck, franchises won't want to bail on a first rounder.

Pretty sure he's a RS frosh.  He would need to play 2014 season and come out 2015 draft

True story.  Back on November 12, 1989 a young 13 year old lopakman who had just recently moved to Kansas City from Chicago was forced to attend the Chiefs/Broncos game at Arrowhead.  It was a hard fought defensive battle with the bad guys ultimately coming out on top.  So in typical Chiefs fashion (at least back then) KC fans booed the Broncos players as they were exiting the stadium.  A certain Broncos player who I have still to this day been unable to identify walked through the tunnel carrying the game ball.  In response to the boos and spitting he threw the ball up in the air to a young attractive lady who was leaning over the balcony.  Young lopakman, full of potential and athletic prowess reached over and caught that football.  I returned proudly to our seats with that ball and told my parents what happened.  My Dad, clearly in shock told me to put the ball under my shirt and we got the hell out of there.  I still have that football and even though the Chiefs lost that day and many times since I will always be a Chiefs fan.  It's been a long painful 24 years since that day.  Hopefully this is the year and I can spike that ball in Denver's fat rough ridin' face.

I think mocat struggles with comprehension.

nothing wrong/weird with being an NFL fan.  Pretty weird to be a grown man dressed up in a costume or dropping the hammer at an MH red alert chiefs kingdom show.

the only TD scored by Denver in that game was 17 yard fumble return by DT Greg Kragen who also went to the Pro Bowl that year.

lopakman, was this the man that threw the ball?

so glad i got that off my chest. thanks for listening, guys.
