10-6, playoffs. It's the NFL. There are five new division winners per year, on average. Chiefs are in a weak division. With fans in the seats at the New Arrowhead the Chiefs will hold their own at home. They'll be favored in five -- maybe six -- of their home games. Their road schedule isn't brutal w/ winnable games at Cleveland, at St. Louis, at Oakland and at Seattle. The defense is a concern but I think they can finish in the top half of the league. I'm pumped about Charlie and Romeo being on the sidelines and Todd Haley growing as a head coach rather than spending all his time calling shitty plays and gambling on fourth-and-ridiculous.
The key, as many have said, is the home opener on MNF. Beat the Chargers (Chiefs are only 5.5-pt dogs) and they might get on a roll early with games against Cleveland and San Francisco in weeks 2 and 3. Then the bye in week 4, giving the national media plenty of time to take notice
And yes, I pick the Chiefs to make the playoffs every year.
