Get Smith here, see if you can trade the first pick to a crappy team for a 1st next year and a 2nd this year + something else (Rams have all of those 'skins picks, no? Maybe they will do it). Hope there is a draftable QB that next year.

It's one yr away. If there is a guy that is a better option next year than the guys this year, ppl already know about him unless he is a redshirt somewhere. If there is a specific guy, I am fine with that. However, if there isn't, they need to figure out who they like best at QB, draft him #1.

I don't want a QB at #1 regardless of anything this year. I am worried that I don't know of any value at QB next year either, Bridgewater maybe?

There are zero QBs worthy of the top pick. If anything, trade down and pick up some more draft spots. The number one overall should be a pro Bowl type player for years to come... Just take the best o tackle and draft a QB in the second.

I'm not an NFL talent scout by any means, but I think he'd be a good pick. Not top 5, but maybe first round. He's tall, accurate, and makes good decisions. I wouldn't build a franchise around him, but if all you need is a QB, he might be pretty decent.

I meant like as a 2nd rounder. Dalton was who I wanted the Vikings to take in the second but we reached way too hard and drafted Pinder in the first.

Yea, I don't know if he is great as I only watched about a half of Louisville all season. I definitely would be more comfortable with him than Geno. Not sure about anyone else in next years QB crop though so it might take another #1 pick to get him.
