Cousins will probably be going to Denver, right?

I think they'd have to dump Talib and Sanders to make room.

Denver is a good chance to win with an obvious need.  Jags is probably a younger version of Denver if they quit on Bortles.  Vikings are up there too but you assume they will keep one of their 3 current decent QBs.

Cleveland could outbid everyone if he prioritizes the money.  Cleveland could actually get decent if they pick him up and use the 1 & 4 picks well.  I assume some of their players would immediately tear their ACL to restore order to the NFL though.

Don't really see anyone in the draft to maybe package a few picks to move up to get and fill those spots either.

As of now, Jags said they are sticking with Bortles. Makes 19M in 2018.  They owe him nothing if they change their mind by March 14.

All 3 of Vikes QB are not under contract.  They very well could sign 1 of them and make him the starting QB.   But they could go after Cousins since they have no $$ obligated to any QB

Cousins has said he wants to play for a winner. So that makes it more challenging for the Browns to get him.  However if they offer 28-30M over 5-6 years, and the next best offer is 5-125M, he may become a Brown.

Chiefs 1st draft pick is #54.   We have the Skins #78 pick.  And we have our 3rd pick (#86 I think).
They could use one of those two 3rd round picks to move up some and pick higher than #54.  They also will have another pick at the end of the 3rd round (Compensation for losing Poe).  So we could get 3-4 players in Top 3 rounds.

It's going to be interesting with Bortles - he just had wrist surgery on 1/26 I believe - So we'll see how Bortles' camp approaches the March 14th date vs the team. If he isn't medically cleared by then, I think the 19 mill is locked.

Crazy

They finally got those 1st quarter points.

They also had 613 yds on 71 plays. They didn't lose the TO battle, and they didn't punt.  Congrats to the Pats on winning their....

Wait, what?  Pats lost?

Yes, since 1950 the Patriots are the second team in Regular or Postseason to lose a game where they had no punts & no more than 1 TO.   Teams prior to tonight were 44-1 in such games.    And yes the 1 was the 2003 Chiefs in the "No punts" game

The 2017 version of Revis was one of the worst DBs I've ever watched play in the NFL. He sucked.

I'm sure the chiefs will sign him to a one day contract when he decides he's actually done

My fav Post Vermeil era Chiefs:

1. Marcus Peters
2. Jamaal
3. Mahomes
4. E Berry
5. D Johnson

Really enjoyed watching him play.

I am thinking Denver will make a run at McCarron now that he's available.  They could potentially bring him in without completely blowing up the team like they would with Cousins.  McCarron isn't a proven quantity but could likely be as effective as Manning and Osweiler in their Super Bowl year.

Not sure I want NFL draft type of tourists in our fine town. Let's try for the NCAA selection show or something a little nicer.

If it helps us get a Super Bowl, I think i'd be ok with it.
