I like the Kansas City Chiefs’ move to get Chase Daniel to be their backup quarterback. With the Alex Smith trade official, the Chiefs are in much better shape at quarterback than they were a year ago. Smith and Daniel are big upgrades over Matt Cassel (who should be cut any time now) and Brady Quinn. Ricky Stanzi is currently still the No. 3 quarterback in Kansas City. Daniel -- a former star at Missouri -- like Smith, is a good fit for Andy Reid’s West Coast offense. Daniel was sought after in free agency and I consider it a coup for the Chiefs to get him. The Chiefs probably don’t need to address the quarterback position in the draft this year, at least not in the high rounds. I’m not saying the Smith-Daniel combination will solve the Chiefs’ quarterback issues for the next several years. But it is an upgrade at the most important position on the field.
Heard Daniel's $9M gives him a million for every NFL pass attempt he's thrown so far

the Dolphin's TE who has played a bunch and stuff is only getting $4m, yet Chase is getting $3M....
Paying a large sum to a guy who has been in the league for a few yrs already but hasn't done anything yet, all based on something one guy things he might become, is very Chiefseo.Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk 2
The Chiefs are so far under the cap, I don't concern myself with salaries.
If we are so under the Cap why don't we buy another WR and maybe a Guard or Center, or inside linebacker, or another corner.
in the end, EMAW will always win.
WR Donnie Avery signing with Chiefs
Still need another playmaking receiver. Avery and Bowe? Woof. How has Baldwin not developed? He was such a beast in college.

Gotta be able to sell players on the Chiefs' turn-around, too.
