That's fine. However I was hoping for a Super Bowl next season, and that now is less likely.

As talented as Tyreek is, he was not going to be the reason Chiefs do or do not make the Super Bowl next season.  I also don't think it is fair to weigh the likelihood of a super bowl before the draft has completed and talent is analyzed.

Without tyreek we don’t beat buffalo this year in the divisional or the 49ers in the super bowl. He might not be the reason, but it makes a super bowl more likely. And give me a break, of course I’ll analyze again after the draft, but making an assessment now is totally fair. It’s sports. I’m a sports fan

Offer to Tyreek was between $20m-$24m.

I’m impressed with some of the FA signings since Tyreek trade.  Jermaine Carter is a great get.  I’m hoping we also land Ronald Jones and Arden Key.  Then bring on the draft!

From everything I’ve read, Jones is a done deal, but it might not be officially announced until Sunday for some reason. I love that one. Good player!

It wasn’t 30 mill a year. Everyone said it was $20 a year. Big difference. If you wanna blame some, blame Adam’s!
Adams and Tyreek share the same agent.  You can’t blame a player for having the long game mentality either.

They both don’t use Drew Rosenhaus?

I think Adams uses Frank Baurer with Sun West Sports and Tyreek uses Drew Rosenhaus.

There have been some articles that have been written that state or imply that Adams and Tyreek both use Rosenhaus. I think it is the way that the articles were written that has misled people. It's not a big deal. I do think it would be tough for Rosenhaus to be negotiating both deals at once and fully representing both clients.

I don't care where it's located. I suspect that the Roy's will move downtown and the chefs will build new where the k is, but from what I understand Jackson Co can only really afford to help on one of those so the chefs to KS might actually happen.

I was just in Vegas for some trade shows.   The Raiders stadium was about a mile away outside my hotel window.    Not a fan of the exterior but it's fitting for the Raiders I suppose.

Arrowhead is a great stadium, but in 8 years it will be 60 years old.   There's not a lot more you can do with that building, and larger events like SB, FF, potential CFPO games will keep passing KC by without a new stadium.

Same here.  although state would be more inclined to get involved helping the Chiefs.  State of MO doesn't want to lose all NFL I'd bet.

Unless it’s a dome (yuck) I have a hard time believing Arrowhead would host any of those anyway. And serious question: does the revenue from hosting a mega high profile event (or a few) even scratch the surface of the cost of building the thing?

The NFL combine could also be on the move.  I’m not sure why they wouldn’t at least think about making it a dome with a roof that can open.

Actually build the moveable roof that could cover the K and Arrowhead like it was originally drawn up #solved

The Chiefs organization is playing coy to get you all to help support $ on a new stadium and stay there, but if they went to Wyandotte, without this obvious bluff, they’d have more $ and top dollar supporters. It’s not happening, but your mayor is already freaking out about it. I guarantee more $ is given to this organization from the KS side vs poors on the Missouri side, w/ wealth crossing state lines to see the Chiefs.
