New research shows the amount of coffee you drink could affect your lifespan.
The study, conducted by the Mayo Clinic, shows people under 55 who drink more than four cups of coffee a day have a higher risk of death.
For people over 55, the coffee didn't have any effect on lifespan.
Researchers say men under 55 who drink more than four cups daily are at a 56 percent increased risk of early death. For women, the risk is 113 percent higher.
Some studies have shown that drinking more like two cups a day can lower your risk of heart disease.
I mean, I am fine, unless a "cup" of coffee isn't 8oz for some weird bizzarro reason. I mean, 32oz of coffee is a lot.
color me shocked. looks like ol' 'sclams called this one a while ago, but hey fellas, how about this coffee stuff, eh? holy crap i had an arabica bean last week that blew my mind. anyway- man. french pressed the living crap out of that rough rider and damn, that coffee was glorious. used a blend of different waters i had imported from spain and micronesia to really take it to the next level. not over the top, mind you, because let's be honest here, there is no over the top when it comes to brewing premiere level bean/water combos.
