Obviously urban freeways were a huge mistake but I've never heard anyone disparage one of America's greatest achievements, the interstate highway system.

Bypass is when like hwy 50 goes around some town, instead of thru it/down Main Street.

I knew that the Big 12 had been knocked down a peg with conference realignment, but watching basketball the past few days I've come to realize it's much wider than I had originally thought. The hard-on broadcasters have for the Big 10 and the SEC is glaring. The Big 12 is a fun conference but not one to be taken seriously, similar to the old MWC that I enjoyed.

They were talking the same about the Big 12 just like 2 years ago in the Tournament. Big 10 has performed well in the tourney and SEC did really well in non-conference this year.

It's only big names anyways. 7 SEC, 4 Big 10 and 12, and an ACC team. I don't see how the Big 12 is down that bad but w/e. Will be funny when Duke smokes em all.

No, yes, no.

They should've used bypasses around every city and not bulldozed through the urban core. But we all know why. And even if that wasn't the reason the purpose of the interstate was/is to move goods from town to town, and most traffic "bypasses" through. Forcing traffic to go into the core of the city is beyond stupid. Else the interstate is one of many reasons though the US has become an economic power house.

Like it actually think Manhattan was very smart to keep I-70 from going through it, it has kept Manhattan very much an intact city. Same for towns even like Lawrence and Salina to keep it on the edge of town, and grow away from it. Also smart decisions. Then you have Topeka, 470 should be the only thing, that section of I70 through Topeka is beyond stupid and clearly a bad/unsafe stretch of road.

chicken-fil-a is so much more transparent and would probably double their profits
