not more expensive as profits x 2

Clams they let the notoriously idiot cows be in charge of spelling. Which is why filet is spelled fil-a (sic)
You can't just have these mongos trying to spell chicken filet its going to look like a hate crime

Like sure, I'll give them credit, of all the non-human species on this planet they arguably have the best grasp of the alphabet and phonetic spelling but at some point you have to have standards. I'm not just going to give them a free pass based on their bovinity

I guess when you see a ton of people drive right past a “chick fil-a” as they hunt for a chicken sandwich like I have a million times, maybe some of you will change your tunes

Is the fil-a even needed? What about just "Chicken"?

Not only can these cows not spell, they are also unaware that they are milk cows. Like, how stupid can you be?

Would it be more of a curse or a blessing?:

If every night you had a dream where something amazing happened... Your team wins the championship, or you win the lottery, you know... Stuff like that. But then every morning you wake up and obviously that great thing did not happen.

And for the sake of this hypothetical, you are not lucid dreaming. You are just having a dream that as far as you are aware is actually happening IRL, not like some kind of stuck-in-a-timeloop scenario where you're very aware what's going to happen and that soon you'll be snapped back to reality

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Lots of good ones. Also reminds me of how pissed people were/are about the streetcar. And now like had KC (and many many other cities) never got rid of them and planned better (amongst other things) then more of KC would become more dense and fun and easy like mainstreet has become (and probably will continue once the extensions are done).

I hope all of our NIL players have Roth IRAs. They need a finance seminar like pro athletes get around draft time.

This post was inspired by the Avery Johnson thread.

Yep.  If college is their peak, some of these kids could easily retire and live a middle class life off this money by the time they are in their early 30's or so, if they invest most of their NIL.   Some earlier.

when people say “time flies” when they are busy, why don’t they say “time drives” when it’s slower than flying?

I bet prior to 1977, if a sports fan belligerently taunted the opposing team/fans with “we will rock you!” that probably sounded incredibly stupid

time flies, part two: did people say “time flies” before the wright brothers invented the airplane?

Now if you want to start asking the real hard hitting questions…prior to the invention of air travel, was anybody actually busy? (Or having fun for that matter?)

The World Fair has always fascinated me. People would travel for weeks, months?, to a badass party in a foreign land with crazy, new technology. I bet that ruled.

My grandpa went to the San Francisco World fair. From Independence Kansas he rode on a milk crate there and back.

Idk how they even did it. Dirt poor, 160 acre farm.
