1. Agreeing with Fitz never sits well with me.

2. Dick lint is a weirdo. I hate how many presidents since Weifald we've gone through but this is so dumb. I'm tired of us punishing people for stuff and being weird about it instead of just like, if they did something wrong just set a punishment and move on

I don't know what a UP does in their day-to-day but this seems like a fringe case that doesn't necessarily indicate how well they would do everything else. (I could be wrong! And it certainly doesn't inspire confidence)

Well I know he represents the entire university on a bunch of important stuff.

The things he mumped up in this case aren’t unique to basketball.

1. Failing to work collaboratively with other important decision makers (if you believe the rumors)

2. Failing to appropriately message the decision made (regardless of rumor)

3. Failing to take any accountability for his role in the process (he still hasn’t said what the hell he actually did or didn’t do)

4. Lack of transparency overall

I get all that but I am not convinced that how he handled this very bizarre situation is necessarily the best indicator of how well he does as UP. I mean UP's don't always do their best in odd situations (the congressional hearings this week are a good example). It might be a good indicator though!

At very least it’s micromanaging his AD and his head coach. Both of whom are paid to follow rules and make decisions regarding regulations that are very well known.

This “issue” apparently passed the two filters of AD and HC.  So he is basically representing that those two filters didn’t do their jobs or that he micromanages his highly paid and highly responsible managers.

It basically has to be one of those two things if you believe Dick: 1. Either his employees can’t do the job or 2. He is a micromanager.

If it were Tang’s call in this instance there would be zero issues. The fact Tang hasn’t said as much by this point pretty much confirms it was not his decision.

Yea I'm saying the need for admin to step in to save our university from bad actors on the football and basketball teams is non existent. If you can't trust Klieman and Tang to handle personnel issues then who the hell can you trust.
