i can't imagine being so angry about changing the name and/or removing the chant. it's perfectly ok to grow as people and realize that what was acceptable and the norm in the past, like making types of people mascots, is probably not a good idea anymore. It doesn't matter if they're the Chiefs or the Kansas City Rabid Raccoons, they'll still have Mahomes, bros.

Many many people think things need to stay exactly like they were in their childhood and if something does change then it ruins their childhood memories. I don't understand it but it seems to be a common feeling.

pros:
none of the other football teams located in prominant BBQ regions have done this, i believe it gives KC a leg up in the "who has the best BBQ?" debate
fans can chant JUST THE TIP like pretty much anytime but especially on the goal line
burnt ends sounds stupid from a naming a football team perspective.

2. "Q" fits magas because of the whole pizza gate/pedo thing they got fooled into BUT ALSO;
