Funny how similar Brown and Aranda has been overall, but with Brown it’s been mostly mediocre and he’s canned, where Aranda is peaks and valleys and he’s safe at least one more year.

Don’t know that Aranda can survive another dip next year tho.

I don't think it will happen but I would love for tOSU to fire Day and spend a decade wandering the "Are we still elite?" desert that Texas did after firing Brown. The last time OSU finished the season ranked outside the top 10? It was 2011, the year Tressel was fired and they had an interim coach.

Before that? It was 2004 When Tressel went 8-4 and they were "only" ranked #19....From 2002 to 2023 they finished the season in the top 10 19/21 seasons....If you exclude the 2011 (6-7) when Tressel was fired right before the season started their last season with a losing record was John Coopers first season in 1988.

Please OSU, Fire Day and come find out what CFB is really all about.

I think he will survive if he gets to the natty, don't think he has to win it.

I think he also survives by winning the first two rounds and losing in the semis.

West Virginia is a step up from Iowa State. Not a huge step, but it's not a lateral move, either.
