I wanted to dunk on somebody.

Figuratively.

Still jump roping nearly everyday, I want to get just one more.

This is going to end spectacularly one way or the other, positively or negatively.

Nah, right now I look like your run of the mill 6'4" 20 year old from Shawnee who can dunk a mini ball but just can't muster up the additional 9 inches to get a regulation sized ball over the rim. I'm going to give this whole thing up before I Parrothead Cat my Achilles in a billion pieces.

“How many of you are tired of being called a racist?” asked the speaker, K. Carl Smith, who is Black.

Almost everyone in the crowd raised their hands or nodded solemnly.

the chair of the McLennan County GOP lamented, “I invited every Black friend I know, and they didn’t show!”

sold $20 hardback copies of his book, “Frederick Douglass Republicans: The Movement to Re-Ignite America’s Passion for Liberty,” to teach his predominantly white audience how to woo people of color.

“After tonight I’m so pumped,” said Kathy Endres, a white woman who attended Smith’s event and bought copies of the book for herself and her husband. “I feel like I can go out there and make the whole world Republican

The thing I appreciate about Harris and Biden, is that they're both very similiar.

Joe for example has happily helped march the United States into idiotic wars, then when public opinion gets a little dicey he'll attempt to roll with something like, "well, this isn't the war I was sold".

Harris by early accounts comes across as being kind of tough on banks, but it looks like the Wall Street/Banking lobby is pretty    with this pairing, and Harris has only been very superficially tough with the industry.   Lot of fluff.

In other words, the kind of candidates that Useful Idiot Nation can fully support.

It's all about the (D)

classic too clever by half dax post

Claim: Harris was thought to be tough on banks
Claim: Wall Street/Banking lobby loves this pairing (Biden/Harris)
Claim: Harris has only been very superficially tough with the industry (banking)
Claim: [Biden/Harris are] the kind of candidates that Useful Idiot Nation can fully support
Claim: It's all about the (D)

So--
Useful Idiot Nation likes candidates that claim to be tough on banks, but aren't actually.

but then why would they even care? because:
Useful Idiot Nation believes its all about the (D).

My impression is that Trump and his people thought they were super geniuses who took down Hillary with their super genius campaign, thought they'd do exactly the same with Biden, and overestimated their own abilities in both cases.

Going back to 2014 or 2015 or whenever trump decided to try this, has there been any political competition that he was predicted to succeed in?

The Biden presidency is going to burn white hot 2 years in and then slide back to mediocrity before he's gone 4 years later than he should have left, but without all of the mumped up Trump love sweepstakes stories.

There will be tons of people claiming that Sean is actually running the show, but deep down, we will all know it's Joe's fault.
