eff if I know, but my limited research shows Susan Rice or Harris.

I don't expect Harris. It sounds like he and the voters hate her.

It’s no epoch times but The Hill has this to say

Quote
Days before Joe Biden is set to announce his running mate, Democrats including confidants of the former vice president say the race is fluid, with different candidates gaining or losing momentum.

Three candidates - Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), former national security adviser Susan Rice and Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.) - are seen as the top candidates in contention.

I will say Biden Bass has a nice ring to it, however the other two being mid 50’s is more appealing to me.

If he picks Bass it's a sign that they are already giving up Florida, they'll almost certainly lose it be selecting a Castro sympathizer. The Floridians and the DNC freaked out on Sanders for saying that Castro had good ideas, Bass is a full on fan girl.

Whitmer was the best choice but whomever is Weekend at Bernie'sing Biden tried to pander and score cheap points and painted him in a corner. If they pick Whitmer or Warren now people will flip their crap.

Whomever has their hand up his ass said something stupid today, again trying to pander.

I'm not 100% sure they won't eff this up, I don't even know if I'm more than 50-50.

We should find out tomorrow, right?

not the sort of thing normally announced on a friday.

I wonder if it’s like big time college basketball coaching hires. Like, if you’re hiring Bob Huggins you make it a real big deal on a Tuesday or something, but if you’re hiring oscar you make sure hardly anyone notices.
Lol didn’t oscar get hired on Final Four Saturday?
:adios:

Friday.

I was in NOLA sitting on a bus from the airport the hotel, and a dude who played for oscar at Illinois was sitting right next to us, he said something like this, "oscar is a good coach, but he's . . . awkward"

my opinion on the tightening debate:  it's mostly an artifact of recent low quality polling, but the race has tightened a bit independent of that effect.  however, it's mostly the trump number going up, not the biden number going down as undecideds come off the sidelines.  as such, not very worrisome, but definitely something to keep an eye on.

The DNC came for Ilhan in Minnesota, threw a bunch of cash behind a black man willing to attack our queen. He out spent her 3-1 but she beat his ass 57-39. Minnesota politics are fascinating, it's nice to see actual populism from the left.

Unlike dax, I will fess up to my bad. I typed that as I watched a report on a Minneapolis television station about her opponent capitalizing on a flood of outside money. I should have done the research first to see that the money was from pro Israel pacs, pro republican pacs, and private moderate dem business leaders, klo's people.

I'll admit my mistake but those three endorsements wouldn't have done a thing to discredit that establishment dems wanted her out. Those endorsements are from the speaker of the house, who endorses all dem incumbents, never mind her opponent running attack ads using Pelosi criticisms. The other two endorsements you listed are from progressive leaders in the state. The Minnesota establishment are progressives, they aren't the DNC, they aren't even called the democratic party.

Being compared to Dax is incredibly offensive IMO.

Nah, I should have read first, posted second, I'll wear that one. I just got really pumped about a primary challenge that I didn't even know existed 48 hours ago. The Minnesota media and constant stream of ads from her oreo opponent got me horned up. I wanted to dunk on somebody.

This is going to end spectacularly one way or the other, positively or negatively.
