Alabama has the 8th highest percentage of african americans in the nation. The 7 states and territories with more black folks all have less vaccine sitting unused than Alabama does, but yeah blame black people.

Unlike Cracker Belt livin ProgRascist MIR I’ve stepped foot inside places like The Center for BioEthics at Tuskegee University many times and know full well the challenges they face.
That said, they’re inoculating 35k plus people a day and real experts at UAB-Med say at current trajectory that near normalcy can return to the state by June if not sooner.
None the less, plugged into local state and Federal government entities at every level as I am, they can’t force people to get vaccinated despite all the campaigns to get people to go get vaccinated.
A rep of a local county health department told me yesterday they’re begging people to fill out their appointment schedule for vaccines. He sent me an email with information that I decimated as best I could on social media.
