Some idiots don't understand that cities and towns get funding from their requisite state legislature and state agencies often oversee and/or assist in the creation of policy and documentation at that local government level.

When the media talks about the slow rollout in NYC they are talking to both local and state officials. But some people are too stupid to understand that.

It’s easy to be cynical and say this whole thing has been botched but I’m proud of that number and am really thankful for the people that made it possible. Hopefully the distribution happens faster over the next month.

Chip updates -

Friend of mine who isn't a front line medical worker but works for a testing facility that sometimes visits old folks homes getting chipped tomorrow.

My doctor told me today the client portal they sign everybody up in would start issuing alerts when my age range comes up but said honestly you'll probably be able to get it at your workplace or CVS before that. He of course had been chipped and he had COVID.
