Mrs Woogy got her Moderna radio yesterday.  With us having had Rona in mid December, she was initially told it would be 90 days.  I think a combo of the unknown of the UK/SA variants as well as having the doses on hand changed their policy.

It certainly triggered an immune response in her - general aches and 101 fever starting last night, so about 36 hours after injection.  No injection site soreness though.  Improving this morning with acetaminophen keeping the reactions at bay.

BTW, if you CornonaBro's truly want to do something worthy, call your congressional reps offices and implore then to demand that Trump/State/DHS ban all travelers from South Africa, only direct routes are cancelled right now.   Need indirect routes cancelled as well, or at least demand that they are screened and monitored in quarantine.

japan is about to issue another "state of emergency". it is de facto comparable to a US lockdown, but nothing is compulsory, its just the Gov asking people and businesses to comply, and they pretty much do. they are asking bars and restaurants to close at 8pm. businesses that comply are paid a "cooperation fee".

it think the paying businesses to shut down idea is a good idea compared to forcing them to shut down and then letting them pray for a bailout that may just be gobbled up by a megacorp anyway.
