and honestly the white house press kind of annoys me as much as the president. Not really their fault but they have to act like Trump isn't a big dumb liar who deserves respect.

There is a very good chance many of you have had it.https://www.cebm.net/covid-19/covid-19-what-proportion-are-asymptomatic/i appreciate that dougie keeps his disinformation concise and dense rather than scattering it out in a long unreadable conspiracy post.

Yes, I leave it up to you to read the Oxford and WHO reports.

While the range of symptoms for the two viruses is similar, the fraction with severe disease appears to be different. For COVID-19, data to date suggest that 80% of infections are mild or asymptomatic, 15% are severe infection, requiring oxygen and 5% are critical infections, requiring ventilation. These fractions of severe and critical infection would be higher than what is observed for influenza infection. Those most at risk for severe influenza infection are children, pregnant women, elderly, those with underlying chronic medical conditions and those who are immunosuppressed. For COVID-19, our current understanding is that older age and underlying conditions increase the risk for severe infection.Mortality for COVID-19 appears higher than for influenza, especially seasonal influenza. While the true mortality of COVID-19 will take some time to fully understand, the data we have so far indicate that the crude mortality ratio (the number of reported deaths divided by the reported cases) is between 3-4%, the infection mortality rate (the number of reported deaths divided by the number of infections) will be lower.

It’s not bad because his thought process changes by the hour. There’s really not much point to providing live looks. Just follow the actual policy.

"Dunno" is right. do you even microbiology, bro? Spike proteins are on the virus capsid. And no, I HIGHLY doubt they are exactly the same given that HIV binds to CCR5 receptor and COVID-19 binds to the ACE2 receptor. They might share some homology, but you'd see that across a large swath of virus classes and it would be totally expected. Furthermore, HIV and West Nile both bind to CCR5, but you can completely eradicate West Nile whereas HIV sticks around, so there's nothing about mode of entry that has any impact on whether or not the disease can be cured.
Look, I agree. Trump's brain is melting and he is a huge dumbass. I don't understand why you think the media should prevent people from watching him be a huge dumbass.

It will be interesting to see how long italy extends their lockdown for, it’s set to expire 4/13 (it began 3/9). Wuhan’s lasted 10 weeks (and their lockdown was probably much more severe...)
