I'd say that when you have governors learning critical information that has been widely publicly known for weeks, then that is an extreme failure of the federal government to establish a national response.

Well the reports from like over a month ago said there was a 20% hospitalization rate, so saying 80% are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms is not really groundbreaking even if true.

That's 20% of those showing symptoms or tested positive, and those that aren't showing symptoms are generally not tested, so that would be 5% of total cases hospitalized.

I am not a huge fan of the president, but his words and actions are of enormous consequence, and the words of the experts on the task force are to and especially so in the midst of a pandemic where there are stay at home orders and massive government actions that have been undertaken and are subject to change.

CNN is doing a real disservice.

Yeah, you're right. Also I listen to these on the CNN simulcast on Sirius, and I have never had a situation where it wasn't on. I was too busy to listen yesterday though, so maybe this is a new thing? What are they skipping?

this is pretty different from when they just carried his rallies for hours at a time. I might be a little more restrained if they were doing deep, informative, in-depth reporting but it is CNN doing their normal talking heads and anchor bit and trying to claim some moral high ground.

Top virologists from around the world have determined that it enters the human cells through the same s-proteins as HIV, which makes me wonder if people are "re-catching" it, or if its something that you never get rid of once you contract it.
