Mr. Kellyanne Conway says 67 Senators are on board so far. This could happen if the turtle will let it.

Narrator:  "He won't"

I'm pretty sure the turtle will be one of the 67.

Assuming I’m inferring correctly from that tweet, what a juicy scenario.

It seems like pubs would find it easier to convict if they're not also removing him from office.

Also I’ve decided impeachment is definitely worthwhile, even if only to have the articles passed and the prospect of a quick removal vote hanging over Trump’s head the final weeks.

Yeah, it would be nice to have an actual record of which Senators will officially recognize that Trump is a deranged lunatic that tried to overthrow a fair election by sending a mob of incels to storm the Capitol.

They all realize that. The vote would be to see which senators and representatives also believe the government should be overthrown.

Wonder if Republicans in Congress now see an incentive to bar Trump from future office (obvi some individuals will) aside from you know doing the right thing for the country.

I keep seeing this but I haven't seen anything indicating that this is an actual thing that's possible.

I think this link talks about it: https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artI-S3-C7-1-2/ALDE_00000701/

I mean, getting trump away from any sort of power or even limelight is objectively positive for the country.  But, as a solely Dem strategy play, they probably want him running roughshod over the GOP more rather than less over the next 4 years.

well this was kind of the thought process a bunch of dems had when he was running way back in 2015.

The funniest narrative of all are those who continue on with the Coup talk.

It’s unnerving to see such a lack of intellect.

Question for you Dax as you are closer to these people than I.

What do you think those who breached the US capitol with zip ties on them trying to find Pelosi/Schumer were?  The maced lady literally said "This was a revolution"

TIA for your non-response

Don't have the first clue, Phil.   I barely paid attention until I noticed that all the ProgLibs were having a total meltdown on social media.  Edit:  That should be:   A bigger meltdown than the normal 24/7/365 meltdown that's spanned the last 4 years.

I don't think you understand how much I'm looking forward to that mentally incapacitated old man taking over the reigns of this country for a few months.

Yeah it wasn't really a big deal until social media ProgLibs made it such a big deal.  Good point.

I wasn't watching any of it, Phil.

So take your little passive aggressive rage out and move on.
