If D2 is ever a contestant on survivor he would end the show with a 10% stake in CBS.

Roy, who owns a hotel(s), forwarded spam from a commercial real estate agent to the entire company with the comment, "look at all these hotels for sale. We're lucky that we still have jobs!"

Over the last couple months, D2 mentioned a few times that he planned to have a serious talk to HRP about stuff like annual evaluations/pay raises and bonuses. You know, because we work hard and deserve it! Each time, I thought to myself "whatever, dude, I'm just happy to have a job right now" and blew it off. I figured he was, as usual, just trying to act as he thinks a good manager should.

A bonus hit my bank account this week. Complete surprise. Immediately after I saw it, I understood why the Professional Miracle Worker had on several occasions made a production of telling us that he was going to go to bat for us.

If I gave the impression that D2 had a damn thing to do any bonuses, I was too subtle.

This really does feel like one of those shows where you don’t realize who the true protagonist is until near the end.

We're shopping for new software again. Yay. Who takes the lead on this big project? Old software guy, D2? Failed to implement new software two years ago, GG? Nope. Neither. HRP hired someone external. Will this person be the next to act like she is my boss sometime down the road? Maybe!

We're looking at three software solutions. Officially, the status is that we are nowhere close to making a decision yet. HOWEVER, after this week's batch of emailed to the entire company prayer requests was sent, a salesman from one of these software companies replied COMPLETELY out of the blue!

Quote
Lord –

I know this is a fast prayer but lift up each and every prayer request as well as my brothers and sisters on this thread and ask favor for each of them and their families – we pray bring healing and comfort but know your will will be done and we give you all the glory and praise!

-Amen

If I were to bet today on which software solution we ultimately choose, I know exactly where I'd put my money.

Lol on call and D2 "brainstorming" about possibly transitioning from acting-as-though-he's-my-boss role to another role.
