King Kong vs Godzilla premiers tonight on HBO Max. Who will win? We all will when we watch this likely masterpiece. Count me in for Team Kong. As mammal, I find reptiles to be repugnant.

Kong was likely nurtured by a loving mammalian mother, just like us. Godzilla was likely cast off into the uncaring world by an even less caring reptilian reproducing female. I suppose we should feel sorry for Godzilla for never knowing what it means to be a warm blooded loving member of this planet. So, if you are into sympathizing with sociopaths, Team Godzilla seems to be the right team to be on.

I've been watching it this afternoon while working and one seems like way much more of an bad person vs the other one. Doesn't have the K-State core values that most of us posse.

Just finished Kong V Godzilla on HBO Max. First off as a little kid who was obsessed with Godzilla and have seen all of the Japanese movies and all of the Kong movies (Peter Jacksons Kong is still a masterpiece) This movie is incredible, they made all the right moves. Very fun and wish i had the pleasure to see it in a theater.

I will watch. I will do my best to enjoy it (part of that is lowering my expectations, as I'm already doing). It's a tough row to hoe to reboot a movie that became a cultural phenomenon staring the then-most-famous athlete in the world. I hope they took some artistic risks (and to be fair, it does appear they did). Not sure how I feel about cartoon Lebron though.

I've never looked at release dates but space jam seems like one of those childhood things that is a huge deal to people a few years younger than me but I have no personal experience with. The lion king and Pokémon are also included in this group.

I enjoyed it because it had MJ, but definitely not one of my childhood movie favorites.
