The second one of the original 3 is the best, game over man.
This is the one. Just ordinance and fire mowing down acid blood aliens. Makes sense to me.

I watched Prometheus not realizing it was an Alien movie. Kind of a weird experience to be like, "this seems a lot like an Alien movie," and then see the damn Alien appear at the end.

Bet your ass I’m locked in on Varisty Blues, currently airing on Video Hits One.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Prometheus is available on HBO this month. I had watched all of the Alien movies over the summer. I really enjoyed Prometheus. It was probably my second or third favorite of the franchise.
Bucket, thank you for saying this. I am a big alien franchise guy. Love alien, aliens also great but mostly an action movie. I think alien 3 not very good. I like Prometheus and covenant, but I really wish they would have committed to the new universe and gone all in with it.

I haven't seen Alien: Covenant. I liked them all, but I really like the prison one.

Edit: That's Alien 3!  :shakesfist:
Bucket, I think you will like covenant a lot. I’m sorry we got sideways on alien 3. Take my recommendo on this.

I liked the roided up monster dude and the super human race that wanted to wipe out earth because we definitely suck ass and I can relate.

To some an infinite void is terrifying, to others, like a weight lifted off hunanity’s shoulders.

Peanut Butter Falcon. 5/7.

Good laughs.

Uncle had Downs. So probably a bit more entertaining to me.

Finally watching Alpha Dog (Netflix). Lots of late 90s/early 00s nostalgia. Never thought I’d be rooting for a Jewish fake nazi to whoop some ass.

Edit: enjoying immensely

Edit 2: eff what a dark turn. Not enjoying

Edit 3: what a buzzkill, and was the Sharon Stone fatsuit really necessary?

Edit 4: what a terrible story. Decently made movie, but why in the world make a movie about such a crap incident. Woof.

No raccoons

The twitter bot hysteria about Cuties led me to watch it tonight. Of course the yelling about over sexualation of the actors in the movie, was absolutely ridiculous and I have very serious questions for anyone who actually watched this movie and that's what they came away with. Anyway, I talk more about that stuff in the pit.

The movie is about an 11 year old Senegalese girl from a conservative Islamic family, living in Paris, dealing with her adolescence, full stop. There are times when the filmmaker exaggerates what's happening in the kids lives, but that has happened in every movie with or about kids ever made. This movie is reminds me of Good Boys and Mean Girls without the funny and Moonlight. It was okay, the cinematography is good, despite the bad dubbing, it's a French film. I'll recommend my wife and daughter watch it together, but I won't watch it again. It's heavy at times and not at all entertaining. I had to watch an episode of Cobra Kai before I went to sleep because Cuties put me in kind of a dark place.
